In this extended weekend workshop, 5 Rhythms™ teacher Anna Witholt-Abaldo and Sexual Grounding ® Therapist Maya Schrier-Kerstan bring their two disciplines together, offering an exciting journey into the territory of aliveness, sensuality, and living life from your full, original, juicy potential.
With the 5 Rhythms™ Dance practice as our container – the place where we begin to awaken our senses, explore our bodies in motion, open up to ourselves and each other, and investigate the day’s themes in playful exercises – we will move into deeper work using the methods of Sexual Grounding® Therapy.
In structured work time, participants will have the opportunity to do some focused, personal work with Maya as their guide, and Anna and the group as their support. We will be investigating where there might be blocks in your flow of energy which are preventing you from enjoying your full potential for connection – emotionally and physically. To this end, we will work with “Ideal Parents” and Generation Lines, in an attempt to create new, healthy situations and belief systems around physicality and sensuality, and thereby heal your inner child. Together we will create a safe place to awaken once again your original curiosity, excitement and innocence - with all respect of your boundaries.

Important: This workshop is not about dating, having sex or being sexy but about your own sensual reawakening and healing. Prior experience in the 5 Rhythms™ is preferred, but please contact Anna if you are interested and do not meet this requirement.
Note for events held in Maine:
Although this is not set up as a residential workshop, we have a wonderfully connected local dance community - there might be some dancers who are happy to provide a bed for participants from far away. Also, the mid-coast area is a gorgeous vacation destination (beaches, lakes, hiking, kayaking, sailing….) with plenty of Bed and Breakfast facilities, Inns, motels, etc. Keep in mind that we are happy to help.
